Disney Adventure Maiden Voyage Set for December 15, 2025
The Disney news floodgates are wide open today. We’ve already learned about Premier Passes, a baby tiger, and the Karate Kid coming to EPCOT. Now we’re finding out more about Disney Cruise Line’s first Singapore-based ship. The Disney Adventure will sail on its maiden voyage on December 15, 2025. Cruise itineraries will be available on November 14, 2024. Bookings will start on December 10, 2024.
The Adventure is unique. Disney purchased the unfinished vessel from Genting Hong Kong when that company went bankrupt. Imagineers were then tasked with transforming a boat that had nothing in common with the Wish, Magic, or Dream into the company’s seventh ship. While they sprinkled in some DCL mainstays (Animator’s Palate, Oceaneer Club, Edge, and Vibe), there are plenty of new options for guests. Let’s find out what those are!
Marvel Landing

The Adventure will be home to the longest cruise ship roller coaster. Ironcycle Test Run will have riders testing Tony Stark’s Ironcycle prototype. F.R.I.D.A.Y. will provide driving lessons to riders before they “push the new technology to its limits on a gravity-defying ride suspended up to 30 feet above the upper deck.”
The Landing will also be home to Pym Quantum Racers. This ride will have you driving mini cars around a full-scale toy set track, dodging oversized and undersized obstacles along the way.
Groot Galaxy Spin is described as blasting “into an awesome mix of high-soaring feats and bass-boosted beats.
Marvel Landing also includes an infinity pool and pool bar inspired by Tony Stark’s residence.
Shows, movies, and more

“The Disney Adventure will offer entertainment on an epic scale – unforgettable character encounters, dazzling Broadway-style shows, signature events, first-run films, private karaoke rooms, game shows and more.”
First, “Remember” is coming to the Adventure’s Walt Disney Theater. This love story features Eve and Wall-E: “After an unexpected reboot of Eve, Wall-E will call on heroes from Coco, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and other classic films to help restore his loved one through the power of music, hope and treasured memories.”
The Walt Disney Theater will also host “Disney Seas the Adventure.” This production will take guests on a “musical journey through beloved stories featuring iconic Disney songs and characters.”
As I said, the Adventure has a unique layout that includes a massive central hub. Imagineers dubbed the space Imagination Garden, which is home to the Garden Stage. This venue will host shows throughout the day, including dance parties, Avengers Assemble!, Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen, and the Baymax Super Exercise Expo.
Adventure dining
Dining rotation restaurants

Like other Disney ships, the Adventure will offer rotational dining. Disney says guests will “have three distinct dining experiences during [their] voyage. The Navigator’s Club and Hollywood Spotlight Club “will recall the traditions and glamour of the golden age with signature entertainment and special appearances by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck.”

Animator’s Palate and Animator’s Table will highlight Disney and Pixar animated films. Animator’s is always a hit with guests, especially when they see their drawings show up next to Disney icons on the restaurant’s screens.
Fans of Tangled and Frozen will be all in on Enchanted Summer Restaurant. This “cozy village dining hall” will have two dining rooms. Maximus is a “colorful, hand-painted rendition of Tangled.” The Olaf dining room will transport guests to a summer snow day in Arendelle.
Pixar Market Restaurant will celebrate Pixar films including Inside Out, Monsters University, Turning Red, The Incredibles, and more.
Premium dining
The Disney Adventure will also offer two premium dining options. Palo Trattoria is adult-only and specializes in Italian cuisine. We can’t recommend Palo enough, no matter the ship.
Mike & Sulley’s — Flavors of Asia will offer four dining experiences.
- A full-service Japanese steakhouse
- A teppanyaki room
- A chic bar with Omakase-style dining
- Outdoor dining featuring sushi and sashimi
Quick-service restaurants
The Adventure has plenty of walk-up eateries, as well:
- Gramma Tala’s Kitchen
- Mowgli’s Eatery
- Stitch’s ‘Ohana Grill
- Cosmic Kebabs
- Palo Café

Finally, Bewitching Boba and Brews in Disney Discovery Reef will offer popular bubble teas and “wickedly delicious concoctions” inspired by Ursula.
San Fransokyo Street

Based on Big Hero 6, this street market will offer plenty of family entertainment options, including interactive games, shops, and cinemas. You might meet Baymax himself.
In the Hiro Training Zone, guests will use Hiro Hamada’s training simulator. “The active, full-body experience will have groups of four running, dodging, and blocking their way across a high-tech gaming floor.”

Wayfinder Bay is for those guests who want to catch some sun. The pool area is located at the back of the ship and offers plush seating and great views. A wading pool with a built-in sun shelf will double as a performance venue. There you can enjoy “Moana: Call of the Sea.”
Kid spaces
As you’d expect, Disney knows how to entertain younger guests.
A world of possibilities will await the youngest guests onboard the Disney Adventure. Disney Cruise Line’s signature spaces for kids from six months to 17-years-old – including it’s a small world nursery, Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Edge and Vibe – will bring their favorite stories to life in dedicated areas designed just for them.

Toy Story Place features a larger-than-life toy land with a family pool, whirlpools, slides, splash pads, and dining options. This is also where you’ll go to watch those outdoor Disney movies.
Adult spaces

Finally, while the kids are safely playing at Oceaneers, their parents can enjoy spa treatments, yoga, and some adult beverages. Buccaneer Bar is the ship’s pirate-themed lounge that also offers live sports. Spellbound is a “shadowy lounge inspired by the Queen from Disney Animation’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The Disney Adventure will sail on its maiden voyage on December 15, 2025.
