Lightning Lane Premier Pass Details Announced for Disney World and Disneyland
Disney just unveiled the Lightning Lane Premier Pass for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The ultimate skip-the-line paid service comes with a hefty price tag. The Premier Pass will be available starting October 30 (Walt Disney World) and October 23 (Disneyland) in very limited quantities as part of a pilot program. Disney World users will need a valid deluxe resort reservation to purchase. More on those in a minute.
Guests will be able to skip the line without selecting an arrival time. Every Lightning Lane Single Pass attraction is included, but users can only use the service once per ride. Users will need to purchase park tickets and make park reservations, as well.
Premier Pass Pricing
Walt Disney World
Eligible Disney World guests may purchase the Premier Pass up to seven days in advance. Prices will vary by date and theme park. Initially, prices will range from $129 to $449 (per pass, plus tax), with the highest prices falling on a limited number of days over peak travel periods. Eligible guests will be able to view prices in the My Disney Experience app. PhotoPass comes with the service.
Shockingly, the Premier Pass can only be used at one Disney World park. From Disney:
Lightning Lane Premier Pass gives you one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in one park for one day.
Disneyland
Disneyland Resort guests may purchase the Premier Pass up to two days in advance. Initially, the pass will cost $400 per person, per day for park visits through December 31, 2024. Beginning in 2025, pricing will vary by date and demand within a $300 to $400 range.
Unlike Disney World Premier Passes, the Disneyland Resort version can be used at both Disneyland and California Adventure. A Park Hopper ticket is required.
