Haunted Mansion Set Piece Permit Filed by Disney Imagineering

Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a Notice of Commencement permit for work in Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion. Mecca Productions is tasked with installing set pieces.

Disney hasn’t announced any updates for the attraction, and there’s currently no scheduled downtime listed on Haunted Mansion’s webpage. Still, seeing Mecca Productions paired with set work is always intriguing, so we thought we’d share the news.

Mecca is no stranger to high-profile Disney projects. The company is currently working to transform Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster and DINOSAUR into Muppets- and Indiana Jones–themed attractions.

For now, this permit is all we have. But any movement inside the Haunted Mansion is worth watching.
