Watch the Epic Universe Grand Opening Celebration Live Tonight
Can you believe it’s been nearly six years since Universal Orlando Resort unveiled its plans for Epic Universe? That announcement feels like a lifetime ago, but it also feels like the park sprang up overnight. I guess that’s what a global pandemic will do to a timeline.
We’re now at the end of that timeline. Epic Universe officially debuts tomorrow morning. To mark the occasion, Universal Orlando is live streaming the Grand Opening celebration tonight at 7 PM EDT. “Blue carpet” coverage begins an hour earlier.
“Get ready to join us virtually via livestream from Universal Epic Universe on May 21 at 7 p.m. EST as we step through the portals and celebrate Universal Orlando Resort’s newest theme park. Blue carpet coverage starts at 6 p.m. EST.”
Tomorrow’s official debut will include a shorter “celebratory moment” inside Celestial Park. While that ceremony is only for ticketed guests, I’m sure several of those lucky few will livestream it on Instagram and other socials.
