Universal Kids Resort Begins Hiring in Frisco, Texas
This probably won’t surprise anyone, but Universal Kids Resort has begun hiring.
While out photographing ride vehicles and telehandlers this afternoon (that’s my cardio now), I noticed a banner hanging outside the resort’s aquamarine administration building. It read:
Team Member Appreciation Week!!
Your dedication and teamwork are making the dream work. Thank you!
That’s not the kind of thing you hang on an empty building.
I also saw Team Members heading out through the parking lot at the end of the day, confirming that the office is now active.
We figured this was coming once crews cleared the staging lot of ride vehicles and construction materials last month. Not long after, pressure washer surface cleaners rolled in, transforming the old laydown yard into what’s now a Team Member parking lot.
I sent the banner image to Aahs n Oohs, telling him that I’d also seen Team Members leaving for the day. About ten minutes later, he sent back a list of 64 job openings posted on the Universal jobs site:

Universal Kids Resort is still very much a construction site. But construction sites don’t hire executive sous chefs for fun. One day very soon, this place will be open for business. Now, if Universal would just tell us when that is.
