Parr House Coming to Disney’s Cotino Community
The mid-century greatness found in The Incredibles films is coming to Contino, a Storyliving by Disney community in Palm Springs, California. The Parr House, inspired by Bob and Helen’s home in Incredibles 2, will be available to homeowners who join the community’s Artisan Club.
“The two-story house will be a multi-functional space where club members can attend events, celebrate milestones, and even enjoy an occasional overnight stay. The community’s Artisan Club will be a go-to gathering place for members and their guests with engaging spaces dedicated to delicious dining, exploring creative pursuits, working out, water recreation on Cotino Bay, and unique programs and experiences that only Disney can provide.”
Interestingly, Pixar artists traveled to Palm Springs for inspiration before animating the sequel. Now a real-life version of their digital creation will be built in the same area. Imagineers and Pixar animators collaborated on the Parr House. The interior’s mid-century design features “clean lines, natural light, and functional furniture, while adding artistic flair in the finishes, artwork, and décor.”
You’ll find nods to the film throughout, including boxes of Sugar Bombs and Fiber O’s cereal in the kitchen and the family’s schedule on an Insuricare calendar. Bedrooms will pay homage to Edna Mode, Frozone, Jack-Jack, Violet, and Dash. The living room will feature a red, black, and yellow palette reminiscent of the super family’s logo. Visitors will have beautiful views of Cotino Bay and the surrounding mountains whether inside or outside on the elevated patio.
The Parr House will open in 2025. Artisan Club membership requires the payment of dues and fees.
