Universal Kids Resort Introduces Gold Annual Pass With Free Parking, Discounts, No Blockout Dates
Universal Kids Resort has introduced a new Gold Annual Pass with no blockout dates, free regular parking, and discounts on food and merchandise.
Current Silver Passholders have early access starting today and can apply the value of their existing pass toward an upgrade. The Gold Annual Pass will go on sale to everyone on September 29.
The Gold Annual Pass costs $199.99 (plus tax) and includes:
- Admission to Universal Kids Resort for 12 months
- No blockout dates
- Free regular self-parking
- 10% off eligible food and beverage purchases
- 10% off eligible merchandise purchases
Silver Passholders get early upgrade access
Universal will apply the value of the Silver Pass toward the upgrade. Those with regular Silver Passes will have to pay $70. Those with the parking option will only need to pay an additional $35.
Upgrades can be completed at Guest Services or by calling the Guest Contact Center at 888-331-9105 while the Silver Pass remains valid.
Upgrading will not restart the 12-months. The Gold Pass will have the same expiration date.
Gold passes must be activated within 12 months of purchase. Any pass that isn’t activated during that period will expire, along with its benefits.
Free parking
Gold Passholders receive free regular self-parking at Universal Kids Resort.
The benefit doesn’t include preferred parking, EV parking, valet parking, RV or bus parking, or parking at the Universal Kids Resort Hotel.
Regular parking currently costs $20 plus tax, so this could make up a substantial portion of the difference between the Silver and Gold passes for frequent visitors.
Food and beverage discounts
Gold Passholders receive 10% off food and nonalcoholic beverages at Universal-owned restaurants and carts throughout the theme park and hotel.

The discount excludes alcoholic beverages, mobile food and drink orders, gratuity, and tax.
Passholders must order at the counter if they want the discount.
Merchandise discount
Gold Passholders also receive 10% off eligible merchandise at Universal-owned stores and carts throughout the park and hotel.

Current Silver Passholders can upgrade today. Everyone else can purchase a new Gold Pass on September 29, 2026.
