Halloween Merchandise Arrives at Universal Kids Resort
Before the giant pumpkin arrived at Universal Kids Resort on Friday, Halloween merchandise began appearing in the park’s main shop.
Universal hasn’t specifically labeled these items as Halloween. Some of them definitely are, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see several products stick around after October 31.
Two displays inside the Universal Kids Store now feature Universal Bitty Monsters and monstrous Minions plush toys, hats, mugs, and more. There’s also an excellent Minions spirit jersey.
The park’s other shops haven’t received any Halloween merchandise yet, but I’ve heard that could be coming. I’ll take photos if it does. I’m always willing to duck into those stores, especially to escape our brutal Texas heat. Seriously. Fall starts on Tuesday.
But I digress.
Universal Bitty Monsters
The Universal Bitty Monsters line turns the Classic Monsters into cuter, kid-friendly versions. Seven blind-box figures, six plush toys, and plenty of other merchandise should appeal to kids before they graduate to the greatness of Dark Universe’s more grown-up vibe.
Universal Bitty Monster plushies – $27
The Bitty Monsters plush lineup includes Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and the Mummy.
Universal Bitty Monster blind boxes – $24 each
Kids (and their parents) can collect seven blind box figures:
- Dracula
- Sleeping Dracula (rare)
- The Mummy
- Frankenstein
- The Bride of Frankenstein
- Creature from the Black Lagoon
- The Wolf Man / Werewolf
Universal Bitty Monsters baseball cap – $25
The line’s blue baseball cap features the classic characters spelling out “Monsters.” It sells for $26. Thanks to this excellent Team Member for modeling it.
Universal Bitty Monsters reversible bucket hat – $34
A reversible bucket hat features a monster collage on one side and a simple monsters lineup against an orange background on the other. It’s an excellent big dorky hat. That’s a compliment.
Universal Bitty Monsters Dracula backpack – $65
This faux-leather mini backpack puts Dracula front and center, with the other Bitty Monsters appearing on the pocket.
Universal Bitty Monsters plush headbands – $30
The Universal Kids Resort Store offers two plush headbands: Frankenstein’s Monster and the stunning Bride of Frankenstein.
Minions Halloween merch
Minion Bob and his teddy bear, Tim, are heavily featured in the Minions display. Mad Scientist Dave and his Tesla coils also make an appearance.
Minions Spirit Jersey – $65 for kids, $85 for adults
This Minions Spirit Jersey features a pumpkin-headed Minion on the front. The back includes “Sweet & Spooky” lettering along with costumed Minions and candy.
Minion’s FrankenBob Mug – $30
Minion Bob and his teddy bear, Tim, get their own mug. Bob is playing dress up as Frankenstein’s Monster.
Minion Monster Tim Plush Keychain
Tim is also featured on a plush keychain. He doesn’t look as cuddly as the other Tims available in the store, but he’s perfect for Halloween-loving kids.
Despicable Me Dave Mad Scientist Plush – $25
Dave comes equipped with reflective goggles, a lab coat, and a purple beaker. The nearby Tesla coil also comes equipped with an unwanted reflection of the photographer.

In addition to stocking Halloween merchandise, Universal Kids Resort will debut a Halloween-themed show on October 2. The performance will take place four times daily through November 1. Just look for the giant pumpkin stage near the park entrance. You can’t miss it.
