Country Bear Musical Jamboree Soundtrack Now Available
Disney released the Country Bear Musical Jamboree soundtrack one day before the attraction debuts in Magic Kingdom. The updated music revue’s song list features Disney favorites that pay “homage to the Opry-style shows of Nashville.” I’m not the biggest country music fan, but this soundtrack is beautifully performed and should appeal to Disney fans. Sorry, but “Mama, Don’t Whip Little Buford” didn’t make the cut.

- “Fixer-Upper,” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen.
- “Remember Me,” from Disney and Pixar’s Coco.
- “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story.
- “Bare Necessities,” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Jungle Book.
- “Come Again,” an original song that debuted with Country Bear Jamboree in 1974.
“The Bare Necessities” features Mac McAnally, “Try Everything” is performed by Emily Ann Roberts, and Allison Russel and Chris Thile perform as Teddi Barra and Wendell on “A Whole New World.”
The original Country Bear Jamboree was one of the last attractions Walt Disney helped develop. This version remains true to his vision, albeit with a less cringe-worthy soundtrack. The refurb also includes improved animatronics, updated costumes, and a much-needed character name change.
