2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Details Revealed

As part of its “Halfway to Halloween” campaign, Disney has dropped a bunch of info about the 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The party starts earlier in the season and costs slightly more this year.
2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates
- August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
- September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
- October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31
Each party is from 7 PM to midnight, although ticketed guests can enter Magic Kingdom at 4 PM.
Tickets are $119 to $199 per person, plus tax. That’s a $10 increase over last year. Weekend parties and those closer to Halloween will cost more. If you can handle wearing your Halloween costume in brutally hot and humid weather, those August tickets are a bargain. Annual Passholders and DVC owners will receive a $10 per ticket discount if attending in August or September.
Guests with Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations can purchase tickets beginning May 8, 2024. All others can purchase starting May 15. Guests can purchase tickets online or by calling (407) 934-7639 when their reservation window opens.
What’s new in 2024?
New Mickey and Minnie costumes

Disney’s power couple will greet guests in their all-new neon spiderweb costumes.
More Disney Villains

Disney also promises more villains will be on hand throughout the evening. Details are scarce, but I have ideas if they need any.
We talk about Bruno!

Bruno Madrigal will make his debut appearance at the party. He’s available for meet-and-greets with Mirabel at their Casita in Fairytale Garden.
DescenDANCE Party

“Get ready to let loose and show off your best villain DescenDANCE Party, taking place at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. This new rave is inspired by the upcoming Disney Original Movie Descendants: The Rise of Red, premiering on Disney+ on July 12, so trust me when I tell you this is a date you don’t want to be late for.”

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade starts earlier

Disney announced that the Party’s iconic parade will take place at an earlier time, “perfect for those guests attending with little ones who want to enjoy the spooky fun before it’s bedtime.” I don’t care how young my kids are. If I’m spending hundreds on an after-hours party, their bedtime is the least of my concerns. We’re closing the park!
Returning favorites

As expected, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks are returning, along with plenty of your other favorites. I promise that you’ll get more candy than you can handle. Cast Members serve up that Mars Wrigley candy by the scoopful. We usually end up passing it out to trick-or-treaters at our home. Allergy-friendly candy is also available.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is expensive. It can feel a little crowded during the parade and fireworks. And can be unbearably hot early in the season. But it’s an awesome event. Disney fans should make plans to attend at least once. And if they do, they’ll be back. 10 out of 5 stars.
