Up Ride Headlines Disney Adventure World Update

Disney Adventure World is getting an Up-themed ride! Disney announced the addition to Disneyland Paris’ second park earlier today. The family-friendly aerial flyer will be found in Adventure Way, the promenade connecting World Premiere with the park’s lake area.

“Blending the charm of family attractions with the colorful and adventure-packed world of Pixar’s ‘Up,’ this spinning carousel will offer a bird’s-eye view of the park’s stunning scenery. Construction on the first attraction at a Disney park themed after the beloved movie will begin by the end of 2025.”

Plenty more is planned for Adventure Way. The corridor’s four gardens will include 1,000 trees, 100,000 shrubs, various statues, and ponds. The English Gardens’ central gazebo will pay homage to Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, and 101 Dalmatians.

Oversized statues of Woody and Jessie will greet guests in the Toy Story Garden, leading them to Toy Story Playland.

Raiponce Tangled Spin’s pond will immerse guests in the floating lantern scene from Tangled. Disney also announced that Mandy Moore will reprise her role as Rapunzel “in a variety of recorded announcements for the attraction.” Ride vehicles for the attraction are already on-site.

Finally, the Up Garden will be home to the carousel mentioned above. Disney shared construction photos of Adventure Way. World of Frozen’s North Mountain and Arendelle are visible in the distance.
