Rhonda’s TrollsFest Express Begins Testing at Universal Kids Resort
Evenings at Universal Kids Resort have been pretty special lately. Once construction crews head out, ride testing takes over. Tonight, six attractions were running, including Rhonda’s TrollsFest Express.
I’m not sure if tonight marked the first test of the ZIERER Force 190. If it’s run before, it likely hasn’t been extensive. The Cretaceous Coaster, on the other hand, has been testing long enough that its two trains were dispatching about every 1:05.

Rhonda’s runs were much more sporadic, which made getting a clean shot a challenge. Testing would start and stop without much warning, and the few cycles I caught didn’t always line up with the right angle or lighting.

Eventually, everything came together for one clean shot of Rhonda’s face. And as luck would have it, a Cretaceous Coaster train crested its lift hill at the same time.
With Rhonda’s now running, the only attractions I haven’t personally seen in operation are Puss in Boots’ Swings Over Del Mar, the Minions’ Bello Bay Cruise and Bello Bay Golf Cart Derby, and Shrek & Fiona’s Happily Ogre After. I might not catch those last three before the park opens. They’re tucked pretty deep in the park.
