May the 4th Be With You: Celebrate With Our Favorite Galaxy’s Edge Photos
My camera is always at the ready when I’m on Batuu. As the First Order likes to put it, I enjoy documenting my failure. So in honor of May the 4th, I present my favorite Galaxy’s Edge Photos.
I took this photo last year before hopping on the Resistance shuttle. I don’t know what was in the air that night, but it created a beautiful photo. I’ve never come close to recreating it.
I like to linger on the shuttle while everyone else enters the Star Destroyer hangar. On our last trip, I caught Lieutenant Bek shutting down between missions.
Is this the best reveal in all of the Disney parks? I think so.
I’d live in that hangar if they’d let me. It’s my favorite space in all of Disney World.
First Order Cast Members are the best. I’ve never seen one break character. And they really don’t like my camera.
Getting a decent shot of the AT-ATs can be tough. Use a quick shutter or you’ll get blurry walkers.
Sup, Finn.
We usually jump on Rise of the Resistance a minute or two before Hollywood Studios closes. Then we head left. I brought along a tripod on our last trip so I could capture some longer exposures. Other guests were taking shots of the Falcon, so I just had to be patient. It’s worth it to hang out in a mostly empty Galaxy’s Edge.
I’m still not sure how I got this clean shot of the Millennium Falcon’s chess table. The ride was packed, but nobody was worried about Instagram that day.
I asked the Cast Member if I could have 5 seconds to take this shot. They obliged.
This guy got in my grill after I took too many photos of Kylo Ren. I thanked him for posing, however.
Little does this Storm Trooper realize that I, like Anakin Skywalker, do not care who has the high ground.
This was a 30-second exposure, yet nobody ruined the shot. That’s why you should never rope-drop Galaxy’s Edge. Stay late and you’ll have the place to yourself.
You can usually get a table in Oga’s Cantina without a reservation once the park closes. Then you can listen to DJ Rex spin Batuu Boogie while you enjoy some fine beverages.
May the 4th be with you and your Galaxy’s Edge photos!
