‘Level99’ Gaming Venue Coming to Disney Springs
Update: Level99 confirmed they are coming to Disney Springs.

According to Yahoo Finance, Level99’s Disney Springs location will be its largest at over 45,000 square feet. The venue will include 60 challenge rooms and duels. A two-story bar will serve handcrafted cocktails, local beers, and Detroit-style pizza. The space will accommodate up to 1,000 players at a time.
Level99 plans to hire over 100 employees.

Level99, an interactive gaming venue, could be coming to Disney Springs. The company recently filed a Notice of Fictitious Name with the state of Florida. The filing, which includes a Disney Springs address, was first published by the Orlando Sentinel overnight. A Notice of Fictitious Name is an announcement that a business intends to operate under a name different from its legal name. I don’t make it a point to look for those postings, but WDW Magic does. They were all over the story this morning.
According to Level99’s website, the company is “a first-of-its-kind destination for adults featuring real-world, interactive social gaming with over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments.” That’s a similar vibe to DisneyQuest, a Downtown Disney / Disney Springs interactive arcade that closed in 2017. It was replaced by the NBA Experience, which welcomed guests for less than a year before closing in 2021. The building has sat vacant ever since.
What could Level99 bring to Disney Springs?
Level99’s two existing locations (in Massachusetts and Rhode Island) offer challenge rooms, player-vs-player competitions, games featuring local art installations, and plenty of food and drink. Google reviews are positive. Customer photos make me wish Level99 had locations in Texas.
Level99’s current venues are geared toward adults. We’ll have to wait to see if their Disney Springs attraction follows that trend. While there are plenty of child-free Disney fans, providing kid-friendly spaces makes sense financially. Whatever the case, Disney would be thrilled to finally have tenants for one of Disney Springs’ largest venues.
