Galaxy’s Edge, Rise of the Resistance POVs Coming to Disney+
Star Wars fans don’t need to be in Galaxy’s Edge to celebrate May the 4th this year. Disney+ is bringing the celebration to their living rooms with two theme park POVs. First, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will take viewers on a nighttime stroll through Disneyland’s Batuu. If that’s not cool enough, fans can then tag along with Resistance fighters as they battle the First Order in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Celebrate 70 years of Disneyland imagination with a cinematic ride-along through Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This P.O.V. journey shows how seven decades of innovation can bring science fiction to life! Your mission begins on Batuu and quickly escalates into a daring escape from the clutches of the First Order. Do you have what it takes to rise with the Resistance?
I hope this is the start of a new trend for Disney. Adding theme park content to Disney+ feels like a no-brainer, especially for retired attractions. I’d love to watch It’s Tough to be a Bug! and Muppet*Vision 3D anytime I want.
