Disney Skyliner Closing for Maintenance in January 2024
My favorite mode of Disney transportation will be unavailable to park and resort guests for a number of days this winter. This is the official notice from Disney:
From January 16, 2024 through January 21, 2024, Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine maintenance. Disney Skyliner service to and from Disney’s Riviera Resort and International Gateway at EPCOT will remain closed through January 27, 2024. During this time, complimentary bus service will be available.

The Skyliner loop connecting Pop Century / Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Hollywood Studios will be closed.
January 16 – 27
The Skyliner loop connecting Caribbean Beach Resort, Riviera Resort, and EPCOT will be closed.
Skyliner maintenance routinely happens in late January. Hotel resort guests will still be able to get to the parks, albeit on buses. Buses will also be available to shuttle you between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
The Skyliner is a major draw for hotel guests along the route. If your hotel reservation coincides with the downtime, you might be able to change your booking by calling Disney or your travel agent.
