Disney Destiny Arrives in Florida Ahead of November 20 Maiden Voyage
The Disney Destiny has officially arrived in Florida after a two-week transatlantic cruise. Hero Minnie Mouse and over 250 Cast Members welcomed the heroes vs. villains ship to Port Canaveral yesterday evening.
The Destiny will sail on a short preview cruise from Canaveral before repositioning to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, its official homeport. After a couple more preview sailings, it will officially welcome guests on November 20, 2025.

Those in attendance yesterday were treated to a ship horn concert of several Disney tunes, including “Go the Distance” from Hercules, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto, and “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio. Disney Cruise Line Blog captured the entire performance.
To mark the occasion, Disney also shared a detailed cross-section artwork of the ship. The illustration is filled with Easter eggs for fans to spot, like door magnets, Edna Mode, and the Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. Click or tap to view the high-resolution version.

The Destiny’s next milestone comes on November 10, when Disney will christen the ship at 6:30 PM EST. The ceremony, along with “special sneak peeks,” will stream live throughout the day on Disney Cruise Line’s social channels.
