“Can You Picture That?” and “Born to Be Wild” Coming to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Disney promised the full setlist for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets this Thursday. But that’s not stopping them from revealing more about the reimagined ride in the meantime, including the second song that will play on that Cadillac’s speakers.

Before we get to that, let’s talk about the ride’s main act, The Electic Mayhem. Guests visiting G-Force Records will be treated to Dr. Teeth, Animal, and the rest of the crew laying down “Can You Picture That?” in the recording studio. Let’s let Disney set the stage:

“With your VIP passes, you’ll be welcomed inside the recording studio, where – wouldn’t you know it – you’ll find The Electric Mayhem cranking out the familiar tunes of Can You Picture That? as they rehearse for their big concert. Along with the finest audio engineers (all penguins, of course), we’ll see Scooter doing his best to convince Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and get to their increasingly restless fans. But will it be enough to get the band across town and onstage in time?”

That song should be familiar to those of us old enough to have seen The Muppet Movie in an actual theater. They also revived it for Disney+’s The Muppets Mayhem.

After our harrowing ride through LA, we’ll be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the band performing their signature song at their sold-out show. The photos in this article are from that performance.

Now, back to the setlist. Disney already revealed “Song 2” by Blur. Today, they announced Camilla the Chicken will be serenading guests with “Born to Be Wild.”

Gonzo’s going to be insufferable about this.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer.
