World of Color Happiness! Offers Interactive Elements

World of Color Happiness! is set to debut at California Adventure as part of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration. Inspired by Walt Disney’s iconic 1955 opening day dedication — “To all who come to this happy place… welcome!” — the nighttime spectacular is hosted by the Emotions from Pixar’s Inside Out and will feature interactive elements.

“Ahead of the first “World of Color Happiness!” of the evening, parkgoers in California Adventure are invited to vote on the Disneyland app for one of four different Emotions — Sadness, Anger, Disgust or Envy — to see them featured in special scenes throughout both of that day’s shows. Be sure to enable push notifications and location services on your device, so you know when it’s time to vote.”

In addition to interacting in the app, old-school interactions are welcome. Guests can sing and dance along with Boyz II Men’s cover of Rainbow Connection and FITZ’s original Makes Me Wanna Move. They’ll enjoy moments from Turning Red, The Incredibles, A Goofy Movie, Tangled, Encanto, and other Pixar and Disney films. Their MagicBand+’s will also light up and vibrate with the show’s signature fountains, lasers, and pyrotechnics.
