TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s, Fossil Fun Games Closing January 13

Tropical Americas is coming to Animal Kingdom, which means DinoLand U.S.A. is going away. The first casualties of the reimagining — TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s, and Fossil Fun Games — will all close on January 13, 2024. Disney hasn’t announced when DINOSAUR, The Boneyard, or Restaurantosaurus will close.

Disney’s official closing dates aren’t the last day you can ride. They’re the first day the walls go up. So be sure to head to DinoLand by January 12 for one last Dino-Rama hang.

We first reported rumors of phased DinoLand U.S.A. closures last month. In that article, we shared details about Tropical Americas. We won’t rehash those particulars here, but we’re sad to say goodbye to the land. While the carnival games and TriceraTop Spin have never been crowd favorites, most Animal Kingdom fans are bummed to see DINOSAUR and The Boneyard leaving the park. We are, too. My family plans to ride DINOSAUR a few times during next month’s Moonlight Magic.
