The Perch Bar Opens November 10 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
We have a name and an opening date for the bar coming to the lobby at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Perch debuts on November 10, 2025. Here’s the announcement from Disney:
“This all-new lobby bar celebrates the resort’s Victorian roots through intricate woodwork, elegant herringbone tile, and custom stained glass that shimmers with subtle hues. You might even spot a few feathered friends that have taken flight throughout the atrium, adorning the stained glass, murals, and wallpaper.”
The Perch’s menu includes champagne, wine, beer, and two signature cocktails: the Sunshine State Rum Sazerac and the Floridian 75. The Blueberry and Basil Iced Tea is a featured non-alcoholic beverage.
The bar is just one part of a larger Grand Floridian lobby transformation. We especially love the look of the new carpet. According to Disney, it’s inspired by the Victorian “Language of Flowers.” The floral prints include orange blossom (Florida’s state flower), palms, moonstones (Florida’s state gemstone), and a few Hidden Mickeys.
Disney also shared that the Garden View Lounge will reopen in 2026 with a refreshed look designed to complement the resort’s new lobby aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Grand Floridian Convention Center has been updated as well, now featuring design details that echo the style of the remodeled lobby and guest rooms.
