Star Wars Day 2026: Disneyland Drops New Buckets, Sippers, and More
May the Fourth – Star Wars Day – is less than a month away, and Disneyland is rolling out some seriously great merchandise to celebrate.
Before we get into all of it… be fair to Florida. Maybe some of this makes its way to Walt Disney World. But let’s be honest. Star Wars parity hasn’t been a priority for Disney. We’re still waiting on Season of the Force, Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, and Luke Skywalker to show up at Hollywood Studios.
Alright, rant over.
These collectibles arrive starting April 28 (unless otherwise noted), and guests are limited to two of each item per transaction. I wonder if anyone will be able to navigate that giant loophole.
Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket

Remember when C-3PO had his head unceremoniously removed during the Battle of Geonosis? Although Disney isn’t calling it the C-3PO bucket, he’s certainly the inspiration. Here’s how the Disney Parks Blog describes it:
This salvaged protocol droid may be a little worn and rugged from its travels, but that just adds to its scrappy charm. The bucket features light-up eyes and plenty of personality, perfect to accompany you on your next popcorn outing beginning April 28.

DJ R-3X Mug

This ceramic mug pays tribute to our favorite Star Tours pilot-turned DJ. This one is only available inside Oga’s Cantina.
Jabba’s Sail Barge Bucket (available starting May 4)

You’re not going to want to put popcorn in this collectible. Khetanna, Jabba’s sail barge from Return of the Jedi, comes with light-up elements and hidden characters. Salacious B. Crumb has to be one of those, right?

If you’re anywhere near Anaheim later this month, this lineup is a pretty great excuse to celebrate Star Wars Day in person. But maybe think twice before putting actual popcorn in those buckets.
