Standby Queue Announced for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland
That didn’t take long! A standby queue is coming to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland on December 10, 2024. Guests will no longer need to join the virtual queue to enjoy the ride. Riders can still purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Premier Pass to bypass the standby queue.
This is great news for fans of spontaneous park days. Anaheim’s version of the ride has been open for less than a month. Meanwhile, Magic Kingdon’s Tiana’s debuted on June 28, 2024, and still requires guests to join a virtual queue to ride. We recently secured two boarding groups and walked on the ride each time. Granted, our vacation wasn’t during a peak time. But it might be proof that the virtual queue can go away, at least on days when Magic Kingdom is less crowded.
Yes, Disneyland’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has had a more successful debut. However, Disney World’s ride seems to have worked out most of its issues, at least those that prevent smooth ride operations.
Starting Tuesday, Disneyland guests can look forward to hopping into the standby queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure whenever they like. The best part? They’ll have the opportunity to ride as many times as they’d like throughout the day.
