Snoggletog! Universal Orlando Shares 2026 Holiday Plans
Universal Orlando Resort has released details about its upcoming holiday season, which runs from November 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027.
As expected, fan favorites like Grinchmas and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s are returning. But this year also marks the first time two Epic Universe lands will celebrate the holidays. Celestial Park is joining in, too, transforming into a “cosmic winter wonderland” with seasonal displays at the Cosmos Fountain.
All of that sounds cool, but let’s not bury the lede.
Snoggletog is coming to Berk
Snoggletog, the fictional Viking holiday featured in several How to Train Your Dragon specials, is coming to the Isle of Berk. Well, it’s kinda been there before. Bioreconstruct snapped photos of holiday theming in several of the land’s shops last year. But it sounds like the entire island will be getting the love this year.
Universal hasn’t shared many details or released any concept art. But seeing as Snoggletog is basically Berk’s version of Christmas, we expect plenty of garland, lights, and other Viking holiday decorations.
And maybe some elf dragons. We can hope.
Powering up the Christmas trees
Super Nintendo World is also getting some Christmas touches. Again, Universal hasn’t revealed much, but artwork shows trees decorated with Question Blocks and topped with Super Stars.
Harry Potter
The holidays will also be well represented at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter across all three parks. In Hogsmeade, guests can once again watch The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle. The nighttime show projects holiday scenes from the films onto the castle.
Merry Grinchmas
The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular returns with its live retelling of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Guests can also meet the Grinch himself and stop by the Who-Ville Tree Lot.
Minions on parade
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will once again roll through the streets of Universal Studios Florida.
The parade features Gru and the Minions, Shrek, the animals from Madagascar, and, of course, Santa Claus. Giant balloons, elaborate floats, and street performers make this one of Universal Orlando’s best holiday offerings.
Finally, guests who want to skip the regular lines to meet Santa, the Grinch, and Max may want to consider the Universal Holiday Tour. This guided experience includes exclusive character meet-and-greets, preferred seating for the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, and a reserved viewing area for Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.
Prices start at $69.99, with Annual and Seasonal Passholders receiving a $10 discount. The tour will be offered on select dates from November 14, 2026, through January 2, 2027.
Universal promises more festive details soon, but seeing as how it’s still about a billion degrees outside, we’re not in any rush.
