Photos: Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s

Today was a good day. I rode VelociCoaster. Even better, my family got to experience the first day of the Holidays at Universal Orlando. We drank hot Butterbeer, checked out Grinchmas, and finished the day with Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.

Photographing nighttime parades is difficult. While floats tend to be well-lit, performers can be less bright. And things usually move quickly. Well, the floats might not, but everything else does. Fortunately for me, Universal’s parade started one minute after sunset. The changing night sky was a beautiful backdrop for the performers, floats, and balloons. I love these photos. And I loved the parade, especially the Minions.
