Sneak Peek: Elsa’s Ice Palace Rises at World of Frozen in Paris

Walt Disney Imagineering just shared a sneak peek of Elsa’s Ice Palace, currently under construction at Disney Adventure World in Paris. The iconic structure sits atop the North Mountain in the park’s upcoming World of Frozen. Once complete, it will stand 42 feet tall and weigh 15 tons. The palace’s towers will also include 300 Swarovski crystals.

Previously released concept art shows just how idyllic the new land will be. Situated on Adventure Bay, Arendelle will back up to the North Mountain and Elsa’s frozen home.

That scene is already coming together. Disney shared photos of the under-construction land last April.

This is Disney’s third Frozen-themed land. Hong Kong Disneyland also has a World of Frozen, while Tokyo DisneySea is home to Frozen Kingdom.

Disney Adventure World is undergoing a major transformation. Much like Hollywood Studios did, the park is moving on from its movie studio roots in favor of immersive lands. In addition to World of Frozen, Paris is also getting Prides Land, complete with a Lion King-themed flume ride.
