Santa Claus Celebrates Christmas for the Final Time in DinoLand U.S.A.

DinoLand U.S.A. will host Santa Claus for the final time this holiday season. Guests can visit the jolly man on the Restaurantosaurus patio from November 14 through December 24.

The covered outdoor space will be transformed into a Dino Institute-themed Christmas party, complete with Christmas trees, festive lights, and plastic dinos. Oh, and the world’s finest area rug. Disney would make a fortune if it sold those Dino Institute-themed carpets.

It’ll be a bittersweet meet-and-greet for many of us. While Santa may eventually return to the area, he won’t be surrounded by that vintage dinosaur decor. And it won’t happen until 2027 at the earliest. That’s when Tropical Americas will open, complete with Casa Madrigal, a Mayan temple, and a hacienda-style restaurant.
