Muppets Logo Installed on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s Giant Guitar
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is rapidly coming to life at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With new details appearing almost daily at G-Force Records, the attraction’s exterior now feels complete.
On Thursday, Tyler shared photos of the vibrant attraction poster. Today, he returned to Sunset Boulevard to document even more additions to the area. Since the poster reveal, crews have added the logo to the giant guitar, Muppets license plates to the limo, more attraction posters, a “Rock Around the Shop” mural, and the Muppets’ name on the entrance arch.
Tyler also snapped pics of the giant keyboard and its single golden key, which were revealed when the construction walls came down last weekend. I almost braved a thunderstorm to snap those pics before flying out last Saturday, but common sense (my wife) prevailed. Thankfully, Tyler’s out there making much smarter decisions while also taking beautiful photos.
Entrance archway and license plates
First up is the attraction’s main entrance. When we visited in late April, the repainted marquee archway was still missing “The Muppets.” That has now been added, completing the sign.

Beneath the marquee, crews have also updated the psychedelic Cadillac limo with new Muppets-themed license plates. During our last visit, the front plate was still missing, while the rear bumper still included the tag left over from Aerosmith’s tenure.

Tyler’s new photos show matching black-and-gold “MUPP3TS” plates on both ends of the car.

A giant Gibson guitar logo
The biggest change in this update has to be the towering guitar outside G-Force Records. While the psychedelic paintwork has been visible for a while, the attraction logo has finally been installed.

The raised black nameplates pop against the guitar’s bright blues, reds, yellows, and pinks, adding some much-needed contrast to the oversized instrument.

A golden key for Dr. Teeth
The massive keyboard wrapping around the guitar now includes a single golden key, a subtle nod to Dr. Teeth, frontman of the Electric Mayhem.

With the construction walls now gone, guests can finally get a better look at the keyboard and guitar details, including the swirling centerpiece Tyler captured in this close-up.

Electric Mayhem rock posters
Additional posters have also popped up in the queue. Inspired by 1960s rock concert artwork, the colorful designs have a proper Muppets vibe.

Rock Around the Shop mural
Meanwhile, the attraction’s gift shop is keeping its longtime “Rock Around the Shop” name, though the refreshed mural outside the exit is definitely Muppets-themed.

With Cast Member previews beginning next week – followed shortly by Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club previews – the Muppets takeover of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is almost here. The ride officially debuts on May 26, 2026.
