Make-A-Wish Families Enjoy “Blaze Your Path: A Star Wars Adventure”
Disney invited 19 Make-A-Wish children and their families to Disneyland to take part in Blaze Your Path: A Star Wars Adventure. The event featured “special merchandise, curated adventures, and thoughtful surprises for each child.” Dozens of Cast Members and Disney VoluntEARS helped make this celebration one the kids and their families will remember for a long time.
The kids enjoyed character meets, photo sessions, droid building, and a Galaxy’s Edge scavenger hunt. The families had to find the missing pieces of their lightsabers before facing Kylo Ren on Rise of the Resistance. Later, everyone gathered for a private Batuu dinner and dessert party. The event’s finale included an epic lightsaber battle. I mean, how great is this?!

These stories warm my heart. Our friends went on a Wish trip and had an absolute blast at Disney World, Universal Orlando, and Give Kids The World Village. That vacation was a very bright spot in a difficult time. Thankfully, their daughter is doing great today.
For 40 years, Make-A-Wish and Disney have worked together to grant 155,000 Wishes. Events like Blaze Your Path show why Disney is such a popular Wish destination. Make-A-Wish and Disney create incredible moments for families facing serious health challenges.
