Magic Kingdom’s Jingle Cruise Boat Names

Last week, I took my position at the Jungle Cruise offload like it was my full-time job, snapping photos of every boat in the rotation. The Cast Members didn’t even question it. They just smiled at me and my entirely unnecessary zoom lens. But with a Christmas overlay this awesome, even down to the “Jingle Cruise” boat names, how could I not?

Jingle Cruise, the holiday overlay for Jungle Cruise, brings corny Christmas jokes and homemade decorations to one of Magic Kingdom’s best opening day rides. Sorry, California. For once, Florida gets the upper hand. Disneyland’s version hasn’t had Christmas decorations since 2017.

We’ve written about the Jingle Cruise in the past, so today is about the boats. Just like the queue and the rest of the ride, each vessel gets a festive makeover, complete with decorations sourced from whatever the skippers could find lying around: an old tire, broken oars, and shredded boxer shorts. Gone are the classic Jungle Cruise names, replaced with holiday puns that range from charming to groan-inducing: Eggnog, Mistletoe, OrinoCocoa, and more.

I wasn’t able to snap every updated name, even with multiple visits. Maybe the chimps got their hands on Bertha (just like they did with Kate). These are the three that eluded me:

With so much to see in the queue and along the river, it’s easy to miss the names entirely. So next time you cruise, take a moment to look up at the dock. Or bring a zoom lens and camp out at the exit.
