Icarus Exhibits Listed on Norway Pavilion Permit

Last week, Walt Disney Imagineering filed a Notice of Commencement permit for work at EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion. Thanks to Blog Mickey, we now know what the work entails. An updated beer kiosk will soon open in the land.

Icarus Exhibits, the fabrication company behind some of Walt Disney World’s most impressive set pieces, is listed as the contractor. Their resumé includes the water tower outside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the larger-than-life Buzz and Woody in Toy Story Land, and numerous elements throughout Galaxy’s Edge. They’re experts at crafting immersive environments.

The new kiosk might not stand as tall as Icarus’ past creations, but it is a beautiful update. Look for it in the link at the top of this article.

In other Norway news, Frozen Ever After is set to close for a brief refurbishment next month. The downtime will be used to replace the ride’s rear-projected Audio-Animatronics with more realistic versions.
