Hurly Burly Theatre, Basin Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk in 2026
Disney just announced three new venues coming to Disney’s BoardWalk. Two of those spaces — a lounge and a retail shop — are confirmed. Details about the third, a quick-service restaurant, are coming later.
Hurly Burly Theatre
First up is the Hurly Burly Theatre, which appears to be replacing Jellyrolls (we think). BoardWalk’s dueling piano bar closed in April 2025 after a 30-year run.
Hurly Burly will offer different vibes depending on the time of day. During the afternoon, the space will feature “family-friendly activities like trivia and other games led by a charismatic host.” At night, it transforms into an adult-only live music venue serving “coastal-inspired cocktails” and light bites.
Basin on the BoardWalk

Up next is Basin on the BoardWalk, a retail experience offering a “sensory shopping experience that feels both timeless and distinctly new.” Products include natural soaps, botanical bath salts, bath bombs, body butters, lip salves, shampoo bars, and conditioner bars.
But Basin goes beyond off-the-shelf products. Guests can create their own items at a custom bath tea blending counter, a make-your-own-soap station, and a soap embossing press.

I buy Dove Men+Care soap in bulk from Amazon, so it’s a safe bet I won’t be reviewing Basin. Or, if I do, it probably won’t be especially informative.
Basin also has stores at Disney Springs and the Grand Floridian.
Disney didn’t provide any details about the quick-service restaurant, but promised to share more later this summer. All three venues are expected to open in late 2026.
