How to Buy D23 2026 Tickets: Step-by-Step Guide for Disney Fans
Thursday is a big day for Disney fans. That’s when tickets go on sale for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026. If you’re feeling a little anxious, you’re not alone. Demand far outweighs supply, and the stress level is right up there with the early days of Rise of the Resistance boarding groups.
Luckily, Disney has supplied excellent instructions for getting those tickets. Before we get into that, here’s when you can buy:
- D23 Gold Members (Essential, Choice, Complete): April 2 at 10 AM PT
- D23 Gold Members (Complimentary via Disney+ Perks): April 2 at 12 PM PT
If you’re a Gold Charter Member or using the Disney Visa Cardmember perk, you’ve already had your shot. Everyone else falls into the windows above.
Join the waiting room (if you’re a paying member)
Paid Gold members can enter the waiting room up to 24 hours in advance. You don’t need to be that early, but you do want to be there before 10 AM PT. At that point, the system assigns everyone in the waiting room a random spot in line. If you show up after that, you’re going to the back.
If you have a complimentary Gold membership, there’s no waiting room. Be ready right at 12 PM PT. If you’re serious about going, the $49.99 Gold Essential plan is probably worth it just for the earlier access.
Log in and verify

Before entering the waiting room, you’ll be prompted to log in to your D23 Gold account. If you’ve never purchased D23 event tickets before, you’ll need to verify your email. Click the verification link and look for an email with the subject line “Confirm account connection.” Check your spam folder if it doesn’t hit your inbox.
The good news: you can do this before the sale starts. So be sure to join the queue with enough time to handle that business.
The virtual queue

Ah yes, the virtual queue. Everyone’s least favorite Disney activity. But in this case, it’s a necessity.
Once the ticking clock disappears and you see the above screen, DO NOTHING. Don’t refresh the page. Don’t open tons of tabs that could crash your browser. If any of that happens, you’ll lose your place in line. Also, don’t try to join more than once. Disney doesn’t like that.
According to Disney, wait times may exceed one hour.
Your number has been called!

Once it’s your turn, you will have 10 minutes to complete your ticket purchase. Clicking CLEAR YOUR CART at any time will reset the 10-minute timer. But hopefully you won’t need to do that.
Do yourself a favor and review the packages, pricing, and Honda Center seating chart ahead of time. This is not when you want to be deciding between Ultimate and Ultimate Preferred.
When it’s your turn:
- Find your package
- Click GET TICKETS
Picking seats (Honda Center events)
If your package includes Honda Center events, you’ll pick seats next. You’ll be presented with two options:
- SELECT SEATS to pick manually
- FIND BEST AVAILABLE to have the system automatically select the closest possible to the center stage in the section you chose.
If you pick manually, clicking seats will highlight them and add them to your list on the right. Change your mind? Hit the “X” and try again.

Use the accessibility icon in the upper left to filter accessible seating. You can also hover over the various sections to see accessible options. Anyone who chooses accessible seating must submit a self-attestation, acknowledging they are in need of those seats.
For more information about accessible seating in the Honda Center, visit the D23 purchase guide.
Checkout

Once you’ve got your seats:
- Click ADD TO CART
- Proceed to checkout (or continue shopping if you need to purchase more packages)
From there, it’s a standard checkout process. If you make it that far, you’ve done the hard part. Congratulations! We hope to see you in August.
