First Look: Test Track 3.0 Ride Photo

Cast Member previews of Test Track 3.0 began earlier today, and they’re already paying dividends for the rest of us. Andrés Aranguibel, a Disney Digital Creative, shared Test Track’s updated on-ride photo on X.

Like TRON | Lightcycle Run’s ride photos, the image’s light trails convey a sense of speed. It also includes a futuristic skyline, filled with sleek buildings and flying vehicles. The redesigned Test Track logo can be seen in the top right of the frame. I dig the update. Kudos to the creative team.

The ride photo also shows us the reskinned vehicle and its updated seat belts. There’s still no shoulder harness for those stuck in the middle seats. I wouldn’t mind one when my car does that stutter brake thing at the end of the ride.

Cast Member Test Track previews continue through July 10. After that, Annual Passholders, DVC Members, Golden Oak residents, and Club 33 Members will have their chance to ride before Test Track’s grand reopening on July 22.
