First Look: Frozen Ever After Soft-Opens Early at EPCOT

Frozen Ever After’s refurbishment was supposed to last 16 days. It turns out Imagineers only needed 15 and a half. EPCOT’s attraction soft-opened this afternoon, a day ahead of its scheduled return.

Mariann and her family were already in the park when the news broke, so they hustled to Norway. As frequent DAS users, they ran into the usual soft-opening hiccup: the ride wasn’t available in the My Disney Experience (MDE) app, meaning they had no way to grab a return time.

But it was an easy fix. A Cast Member directed them to the Lightning Lane entrance, and Mariann, Noah, and Derek were sailing away within minutes. Derek shared a complete ride-through video on X:

Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff are back at work and looking better than ever. If you’re anywhere near World Showcase and love being first, you know what to do.
