DVC Sends Thank You Gift to Membership Magic Beyond Owners

Disney Vacation Club has sent out a thank-you gift to members who purchased the Membership Magic Beyond add-on in 2025. The freebie — a MagicBand slider — arrives with a card and the following message:

“We hope your 2025 Membership Magic Beyond benefit package elevated your experiences. Here’s a token of appreciation just for you. Keep the magic going and purchase for 2026, if you haven’t already.”

You may need to remove your current MagicBand accessories to fit this one. It’s a bit larger than average to make room for “2025” and the Membership Magic Beyond and DVC logos.

We purchased the upgrade for a couple of reasons, none of them financial. Sure, we’d love to use the theme park ticket discount the next time we visit Disneyland. But as Annual Passholders, that perk doesn’t help much at Walt Disney World. And we’re not about to convert points into APs, either.

Nope, we forked over $99 so we could hang with Mickey & Minnie and Judy & Nick after hours in the ImaginAtrium. Preferred seating in the member lounges is also a huge plus, especially when trying to get into McKim’s Mile House on busy Magic Kingdom days.

So am I happy about a free piece of plastic? You bet I am. It’s already on my MagicBand, ready to show everyone that I’m willing to pay extra to pose with cartoon animals.
