ImaginAtrium Christmas Meet-and-Greet: Mickey & Minnie’s Costume Changes
The ImaginAtrium is dressed for Christmas. Inside EPCOT’s Disney Vacation Club (DVC) lounge, you’ll find slender trees, giant ornaments, and a holiday-themed character area. While the meet-and-greet sits empty during the day, Mickey and Minnie appear at night for a special members-only encounter offered to Membership Magic Beyond guests.
I started writing this article yesterday, and of course, DVC announced a costume change this morning. Mickey and Minnie have retired their travel-themed outfits and, as of today, are greeting guests in their ski gear:
“Styled for the slopes! “Ski” Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse inside Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium – A Member Lounge at EPCOT during a special character experience, available exclusively to eligible Members enrolled in the Membership Magic Beyond option.”
Mickey and Minnie’s monochromatic ski gear is a big departure from the vibrant blue outfits they wore during our visit. Decorated Christmas trees and luggage have also been replaced with flocked pines, mugs of hot cocoa, skis, and a snowboard.
Regularly rotating the power couple’s costumes could nudge more DVC owners toward the $99 Membership Magic Beyond add-on. Since signing up, we’ve visited the ImaginAtrium several evenings and never waited once to meet the characters. In fact, we were the only ones in the lounge when we met Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde back in April.
Beyond the characters, the nighttime ImaginAtrium has a fantastic vibe. EPCOT views (especially Spaceship Earth), holiday decorations, and the pyramid’s fantastic lighting deserve to be seen by more people.

A nighttime ImaginAtrium continues to be one of Membership Magic Beyond’s best perks. Between the holiday decor, the nighttime atmosphere, and the rotating character looks, it’s an experience that feels worth the $99 upgrade. And judging from our visits, it’s still blissfully uncrowded.
Which makes me question why I’m telling anyone about it.
