DVC Meet & Treat Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk for America’s 250th Birthday
Disney Vacation Club is throwing a party in honor of America’s 250th birthday. On July 1 and 2, eligible Members can stop by the Disney Vacation Club Meet & Treat at Disney’s BoardWalk. The event title does a pretty good job of setting expectations. There will be treats. There will be characters.
To attend, you’ll need to be eligible for Membership Extras. Check your digital Membership Card. If it has a DVC-Y designation, you’ve cleared the first hurdle. Next, you’ll need a qualifying reservation. Disney defines it this way: “Members must also have a qualifying reservation booked within their eligible Membership at a Disney-owned-and-operated hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort on an event date.”

Guests may attend only one of the two event dates.
Hours
11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern Time
Everything Else
- No registration is required.
- Arrive early. If the line reaches capacity, Disney may close it before 1 PM.
- You may bring up to four guests, or everyone staying in your room.
- Bring your DVC Digital Membership Card and a valid photo ID. The Member listed on the card must be present.
- Parking is not provided. Disney strongly recommends using Walt Disney World transportation, as access to BoardWalk parking may be restricted.
DVC Members are a fascinating group. We collectively spend enough money on our contracts to make financial advisors nervous, then happily line up for a complimentary cookie and a character photo. But hey, free snacks are free snacks.
