Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Name Updated
Disney Vacation Club is making a minor name change to its upcoming Bay Lake resort hotel. Previously named Disney Lakeshore Lodge, the resort’s new name now includes a possessive: Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.

The update brings Lakeshore Lodge in line with the rest of Walt Disney World’s resort hotels, which all include the possessive. Disney Lakeshore Lodge was an outlier.
In addition to the new filing, the Disney Parks Blog has updated its existing posts about the hotel to reflect the new name.
This is the second time Disney has quietly changed Lakeshore Lodge-related names. Last month, two locations in the resort’s Wetlands pool area received updates. Lakeside Lagoon became Lakeshore Lagoon, while Perspective Pond was renamed Cypress Point.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge debuts next summer with 967 rooms, A-frame cabins, a lazy river, and fireworks viewing.
