Disney Vacation Club Clarifies Sorcerer Pass Rules

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has clarified long-standing rules for its Sorcerer Annual Pass perk. Updated language now makes clear that Members can purchase up to eight passes per year, and only for immediate family members living in the same household as the DVC owner:

“Please note that eligible Members may only purchase up to 8 Disney Sorcerer Passes per year for themselves and their immediate family living in their household. Annual Pass offers are not part of the ownership interest and are an incidental benefit subject to availability, change, or termination.”

The Sorcerer Pass remains one of the most valuable perks for DVC owners who don’t live in Florida. At $1,099 (plus tax), it’s a much cheaper option than the only other pass available to non-Florida residents, the Incredi-Pass, which costs $1,629 (plus tax).

Yes, the Incredi-Pass comes with no blockout dates, while the Sorcerer Pass excludes 17 days around Thanksgiving and the holidays. But saving $530 and avoiding the busiest weeks of the year? That feels like a win.
