“Disney Tales of Magic” Debuts at Disneyland Paris This January
A drone-filled nighttime spectacular is coming to France. “Disney Tales of Magic” will debut at Disneyland Paris on January 10, 2025. The show will feature Disney and Pixar favorites like Pinocchio, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Lilo & Stitch, Encanto, Inside Out, and WALL-E.
“We’re pushing the boundaries like never before, blending storytelling and cutting-edge technology into a unique experience found only at Disneyland Paris. The 20-minute show begins as projections on Main Street, U.S.A. and Sleeping Beauty Castle seemingly blend together to create the ultimate immersive experience. From a grand ballroom where Cinderella and Prince Charming waltz under the stars to a colorful Colombian village brought to life by the magic of the Madrigal family and rows of colorful emotion-filled memory balls inside Riley’s mind, there are quite a few special moments in store.”

Disney Tales of Magic will “combine pyrotechnics, fountain displays, and cutting-edge technology that add to the show’s all-encompassing nature, including 60 brand new ultra-powerful lighting fixtures, 15 ultra-bright lasers, an all-new architectural LED lighting package, and even a new immersive audio system.” As we mentioned, the show will have drones. We don’t know how many yet, but Disney announced that creative teams have put in over 17,500 hours of work, “leveraging the most advanced 3D technologies to help bring to life the magic of Disney and Pixar storytelling.”
In addition to the tech, music will also play a big role. Guests will be treated to new arrangements of over 20 classic Disney songs and a new song composed specifically for the show. That tune — Live in Magic — will be performed in both French and English.
