Disney Skyliner Closing for Maintenance in Late January 2028
Following its usual routine, the Disney Skyliner will close for maintenance from January 24 through February 2, 2028. During the closure, Disney will provide bus transportation between affected resorts and theme parks.
The downtime will have the greatest impact on guests staying at:
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Riviera Resort

It’s also a bummer for those staying at Disney’s Beach Club, Yacht Club, and BoardWalk. The Skyliner isn’t as vital for those guests since they can walk or take a boat to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, but joyriding will be out of the question.
Disney announces these closures well in advance, knowing just how many people choose the above resorts for their Skyliner access. If that’s you, booking before or after late January might be your best bet. After all, the Disney Skyliner is also scheduled to close from January 24–30, 2027.
