Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Closing for Refurbishment on November 2
According to the My Disney Experience app, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will close for refurbishment beginning November 2, 2026. Critter Co-Op and Tiana’s Bayou General will also close that day.
Update (September 1, 2026): Disney has removed Critter Co-Op from the refurbishment calendar. The store will remain open during Tiana’s refurbishment.
The app’s refurbishment calendar doesn’t indicate when the attraction or shops will reopen. Disney’s website offers no additional details about the downtime.
Routine maintenance isn’t unusual for water rides. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened in June 2024, so a refurbishment after more than two years of operation isn’t surprising.
The attraction’s many Audio-Animatronics could also use some attention. A quick scan of social media turns up plenty of videos showing figures operating with limited movement, or not moving at all. Hopefully, Disney can address those issues and return the attraction to its full glory. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is beautiful when everything works.
