Disney PhotoPass Photos Can Now Automatically Sync to Shutterfly

Shutterfly is now the Official Photo Gift Partner of Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. The connection launched today for Walt Disney World and Disneyland guests. Disney Cruise Line and Aulani will get a similar experience in early 2027.

Guests can connect their accounts on Shutterfly’s Disney PhotoPass page. After logging in, follow the prompts to connect your MyDisney account. Shutterfly says photos will usually appear in less than 10 minutes, although some transfers can take up to 24 hours.

Keep downloading your photos

We still recommend downloading your PhotoPass photos, whether you use Shutterfly or not. Disney keeps your photos on their servers for a relatively short time, typically 45 days. Annual Passholders and Magic Key Holders get a year.

Shutterfly will hold on to your galleries indefinitely, but you’ll need to make purchases at least once every 18 months for that to happen. Again, don’t leave it to chance. We recommend setting a reminder a week or two after your vacation to download your Disney photos. You can always re-upload them to Shutterfly if your 18-month window lapses.

Easily order exclusive Disney designs

Once the photos are in your library, you can use them to order Shutterfly products. There’s no need to download from Disney, find where your computer put them, and upload them again.

Those products include new exclusive Disney Parks collections. Designs represent Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disneyland Park, and Disney California Adventure. Additional Disney-centric collections are planned.

Shutterfly’s Disney shopping hub includes park-themed photo books and ornaments, Disney blankets, calendars, magnets, drinkware, puzzles, and tabletop prints. Shutterfly is also expanding its designs featuring Mickey & Friends, Winnie the Pooh, Toy Story, and Cars.

The exclusive designs are a nice touch. But I’m more interested in the convenience of connecting two accounts once and letting the photos transfer themselves. I’ll still download my own copies, but having everything ready when I want to order a print removes a few steps. I’m rarely looking for more things to do after a vacation.
