Disney Dining Reservations Returned to MDE App

Guests can once again make dining reservations in the My Disney Experience (MDE) app. Yesterday, Disney began redirecting users to the Walt Disney World website so Disney IT could implement a virtual queue for the Beak and Barrel reservation rollout. That proved to be wildly successful, so this probably won’t be the last time guests are redirected.

Disney IT has taken some grief lately. While some of it’s warranted, most of the complaints aren’t. After recent updates, their dining tools are incredibly intuitive and beautiful. Booking 60-day ADRs has never been easier. What used to take me 30 minutes can now be done in a fraction of the time, letting me get a couple more hours of sleep.

Anyway, kudos to Disney IT. They deserve it.
