Disney Cast Members Bring Christmas to Magic Kingdom in the Pouring Rain
We are officially in the Christmas season. At least it’s official according to my wife. That means people spending their hard-earned money on a Walt Disney World vacation expect garland, wreaths, and lights. The jack-o’-lanterns and harvest leaves have to go.
Disney’s Cast Members always oblige, staying late to update the parks. Disney Parks shared a reel of Magic Kingdom’s overnight transformation, complete with a steady downpour. Crews lined Main Street, U.S.A. with holiday cheer, which may be easier to install than to feel in the rain at 3 AM.
Guests are enjoying the results today, even if they, too, are getting a little wet. At least they didn’t have to haul the boxes down from the attic.
Enjoy the reel. And if you visit a Disney theme park this holiday season, thank a Cast Member. Better yet, submit a Mobile Cast Compliment.
More decorations, including the parks’ massive Christmas trees, are on the way. But this is a great start, especially for a night when the weather contributed absolutely nothing.
