Become a Monster: Darkmoor Makeup Experience Tickets Now Available

Tickets for the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience are now available. Guests wanting to fully immerse themselves in Dark Universe will be transformed into iconic creatures like Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, and other legendary monsters.

Two experiences are available. The Transformation Ticket, which includes face painting and accessories, is priced at $169 for adults and $109 for children ages 5 to 9. The Experiment Ticket (face paint only) is available for $45. Passholders enjoy a 10% discount. Each time slot accommodates two appointments, with sessions lasting approximately 20 minutes.

Based on Universal’s promo photos, the Darkmoor Makeup Experience will be well worth the money. These are not your typical face paints — the Team Members applying makeup are artists. Picture yourself as one of these characters posing in front of Frankenstein Manor!

Know before you go

Be sure you’re willing to forgo adult beverages before signing up. You won’t be able to purchase alcohol at any of Universal’s theme parks or CityWalk while in makeup.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Passholders will receive a 10% discount. Passholder discounted tickets are available at the venue or Universal Orlando Front Gate/Guest Services locations. You must present a valid Annual/Seasonal Pass and valid photo identification at the time of purchase or redemption.
Your face paint could interfere with Universal’s photo validation system. You might have to “re-validate your photo” after your session. Team Members at the venue can assist with this.
Be sure to let your makeup artist know if you have sensory conditions or are allergic to latex, alcohol, talc, or cotton.
Guests must be 5 or older. Guests under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult. That adult may be asked to assist with the child.
