Baby Zebra Debuts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Walt Disney World’s baby animal announcements are becoming a regular occurrence. Today, they announced that a zebra foal has joined the dazzle at Animal Kingdom Lodge:

“It’s a girl! We’re excited to welcome a baby zebra to Walt Disney World! Mom Aziza delivered the healthy foal at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the little one is now out exploring the Arusha Savanna.”

Arusha Savanna sits within the horseshoe-shaped wings of Jambo House. Sorry, Kidani Village guests. Snapping pics of this baby girl will require a trip on the internal shuttle.

The announcement follows yesterday’s news that Raisin, an Ankole calf, has joined her herd on Kilimanjaro Safaris. Cinnamon made her debut there a few months earlier, while another calf, Winnie, lives at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

We’re staying at Kidani Village next month. Between the Lodge and the Safaris, my baby photoshoot schedule is filling up.
