AstroFizz Replacing Cool Ship in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland

The Cool Ship has blasted off from Magic Kingdom, never to return. AstroFizz will soon take its place. Disney Eats revealed some of the items coming to the Tomorrowland quick-service kiosk. Spoiler alert: none of it is healthy. Prepare yourself for sugar rushes. Here’s the official announcement:

Fuel up at this space-age stand featuring buttery popcorn and fluffy cotton candy. Then, before you blast off again, cool off with a refreshing beverage—like frozen slushies or assorted Coca-Cola® Fountain Beverages.

Here are a few of the items that will be on the menu when AstroFizz opens:

AstroFizz Cherry Cola Churro — Cherry Cola Churro rolled in cherry sugar, drizzled with Coca-Cola Cherry icing, and topped with cherry popping candies

AstroFizz Frozen Slushies — AstroFIzz Fanta Orange, Fanta Blue Raspberry, and Coca-Cola Frozen Slushies

Kevin snapped a photo of AstroFizz’s future Tomorrowland home in June, shortly after crews removed Cool Ship. At the time, Disney made is sound like the red Tomorrowland icon would be returning: “Cool Ship is temporarily closed for refurbishment and is expected to reopen later this year.” That turned out not to be the case.

AstroFizz has since been erected, but sorry, we haven’t been able to snap a pic yet. We’ll fix that in a few weeks. For now, here’s our homage to the always cool Cool Ship. I never purchased your sodas or popcorn, but I always admired your vibes while riding the PeopleMover.
