Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock Closed Through January 30 for Maintenance
Starting today, the Wilderness Lodge boat dock will be unavailable to guests as crews begin a routine maintenance project. Boat transportation from the resort is temporarily suspended, and the dock is expected to remain closed through January 30:
“From Jan. 12, 2026, through early April 2026, the boat dock at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo routine maintenance. The dock will be closed and boat transportation temporarily suspended from Jan. 12–30.”
Guests will need to take a bus to visit Magic Kingdom. Anyone wishing to explore Fort Wilderness or dine at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue will need to do the same before taking a boat to that resort.
This isn’t the only work underway at the resort. Wilderness Lodge is also undergoing an exterior refurbishment, which is expected to last until late 2026. Guests may experience construction noise and activity during the day.
